How can I change the MySQL password?

Open MAMP PRO
Stop the servers if they are already running.
Click on the MySQL entry in the left sidebar.
Click on the button “Change password”.
A dialog for entering the new password will appear. Enter the new password in both fields.
Confirm your entry by clicking on the “Change” button.
